ABOUT US:  OUR HISTORY

Founded in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom in 1992 as Pumpkin Software, we initially created simple databases for local customers.  Throughout the 1990s, we gradually increased our products and services to include relational databases, shareware programs, and user training for commercial software.  We became Hardwood Raisins, Inc. (HRI), a privately held Vermont corporation, on September 27, 2001.  Soon after incorporation as HRI, we broadened our scope to include commercial software development. 

Some examples of our recently completed projects and programs include:
  * Production scheduling software for paper-making machines (proprietary)
  * Real-time data acquisition for process manufacturing, with Statistical Process Control charting (proprietary)
  * Data migration/conversion
  * WEB-based order management system for online software distribution (proprietary)
  * Handi-Beams 4.0 Beam analysis software (shareware and commercial)
  * G-2 Automatic generation of tool paths in AutoCad® from CNC programs (custom)
  * CNCAuto Parametric generation of CNC Programs (custom)

We are aggressively pursuing growth in our Listen & Solve approach and in software development.
Also, our philosophy of continual improvement for HRI has led us to enroll in the Microsoft Partner Program (Registered Member)  http://members.microsoft.com/partner/program/.

ABOUT US:  OUR FUTURE

We are excited about the future. 
This year alone, we will be helping more Listen & Solve clients than ever before, both directly and through the Internet, and we plan to release our Entry-Level ERP system for small and medium businesses.  That system is in development, and is progressing rapidly.
